The Building Trades would like to say a hearty and spicy THANK YOU to all Local Members, Contractors, Suppliers and Business Partners who contributed their time and resources to make the 2011 Chili Cook-Off a success.  The 2011 event raised over 30% more money than in 2010, even in this tough economy, which proves that workers and businesses in the Omaha and Southwest Iowa Trades are optimistic and can come together for a cause.  Let’s break the 2011 record on March 3^rd at the IBEW LU 1974 Hall!

In 2011, the Building Trades provided thirteen $750 college scholarships to dependents of Building Trades members and we are once again asking for support in the form of door prize items and/or cash donations.
