Annual Scholarship Golf Outing

Levels of Participation: Golfer - $100 for 1 or $400 for a team of 4 (each golfer will get 18 holes of golf with a cart, chicken dinner, door prizes and a whole lot of fun
Hole Sponsor - a hole sponsor will get a sign with their company name on it that will sit at the tee box of a hole and sponsor the pin prize for the hole. You will also receive your name in the golf program and recognition at the dinner that day.
Door Prize Sponsor - A door prize sponsor can donate company logo wear or gifts (shirt, ball cap, pens, golf balls, towl, etc). You will be recognized in the golf program.

History of NAWIC:
The National Association of Women in Construction began as Women in Construction of Fort worth, founded on September 11, 1953 by Doris Efird and 15 other women who were looking for a support system. Women in Construction of Fort Worth amended their charter t incorporate other chapters in Texas and throughout the nation. In doing so, on May 17,1955, they became the National Association of Women in Construction.
As word of NAWIC spread, several foreign countries became interested in the cause to enhance the success of women in the construction industry. In 1996, NAWIC signed an International Affiliation Agreement with NAWIC-Australia. In 1998, NAWI signed an International Affiliation Agreement with New Zealand and another in 1999 with South African Women in Construction (SAWiC). In September 2003, NAWIC signed an International Affiliation Agreement with the United Kingdom.
The Greater Omaha Chapter No. 116 was founded in January 1965. The chapter continues to grow and has been recognized regionally and nationally fro their professional education programs and construction industry projects throughout the years.
The Omaha Chapter annually gives otu a number of scholarships in various amounts to blue and white collar construction industry students.
